As part of our dissertation research, we had to present our dissertation ideas to our tutors and a few of our classmates. This was to let our tutors know what our topics were and also to show that we had gathered information over the past few weeks and had a grasp of our area.
I was pretty happy with how my presentation went, and I was able to keep it just under the 5-minute mark. The feedback I received from my tutors was pretty positive but I still got some points that I could improve on. We had some good discussion in the Q&A about UX and how it can be seen as mostly positively but also could have some negative effects if we are not careful. I was also told that my slides were quite text-heavy and could have used some visual aids to make it more engaging. I am overall happy with how today went and I think I have a more focused view on what I am going to researching and writing about.
