I then had to create a set of brand guidelines for my banking brand. This was something that I started but then finished at the end so that I could ensure that all the information matched what was in the app and landing page that I created. I wanted the brand guidelines to be super simple and straight to the point. I used a very limited colour palette, only using the brand colours. I also only used text that was necessary, to keep it from getting clustered. We had a lecture on brand guidelines, and this was very helpful as we learnt what they should include and the overall layout of what one should look like. Also designing a brand guidelines for Costa Coffee helped me to understand how to go about creating a set of functional brand guidelines. I am very pleased with how my landing page turned out, and think that it represents the brand well and sets out clear rules and principles to follow.
