I then moved on to writing the brief itself, and I done this with the research and discovery work that I had previously gathered.
Project Title | Design a digital product to help university students with routine management. |
---|---|
Context | Students struggle with the transition from school to university. This is because the extra free time and responsibility they have. I will be creating a routine app that helps students stay productive and focused, by setting them a personalised routine that fits them. It addresses the issue of lack of routine that students face when they come to university. |
Project Summary | This project aims to create a digital product in the form of an app that will be targeted at university students. The purpose of the app is to provide a routine to students to help be productive while at university. Using different UX methods, the project will be tailored towards university students, and their best interests. Desk research, competitor analysis, and user interviews will be conducted to best understand what the problem and solution is. User personas, empathy maps, and journey maps will be created based off what I found from research. Lo-fi wireframes through to a Hi-fi Figma prototype will be created, usability testing and applying user feedback throughout the process. |
Outcome | To have a working high-fidelity Figma prototype that will showcase the screens and features. This will be in the form of a smart phone app. The main purpose of this app is to help university students manage routine and more productive in their studies. |
