The next step of the project was to create the brief and have clarity to what I am problem I am designing for.
Before the brief got set, I defined the problem, and this was to get the ideas in my head down on paper and have a clear focus for what I wanted to do. From the research it was clear what I wanted to focus in on, due to my own personal experience and also from the research that I done. Using different methods that we learnt in class I was able to frame my design challenge, then create a user need statement. These will help my thinking from now in the project.

After doing some more research and discovery, I have decided that I wanted to take the project in a new direction. I found that although students concentration is a big problem, It has a lot of aspects and I thought that it would be too much to cover in the time that we have for this project. I have found that a lack of routine keeps popping up, and instead I have decided that I am going to centre my focus on this problem instead. I think that it is more viable for this project and I can really have a good crack at making a solution.
